Open/Close CD v1.20

This joke application will open or close the CD-ROM drive, then launch a specified program, puzzling most users. Perfect for adding to the shortcut of a commonly used application or to the startup of the machine. Works with most standard Windows compatible CD-ROM drives. Command line options for Open/Close CD:

OPEN_CD.EXE {open or close} {cd-rom drive letter} {path to program to execute}

For Example:
"C:\MY STUFF\OPEN_CD.EXE" open d "C:\WINDOWS\NOTEPAD.EXE"

This would open the CD-ROM drive D:\ and then open Notepad.

"C:\MY STUFF\OPEN_CD.EXE" open "C:\WINDOWS\CALC.EXE"

This would open Windows default CD-ROM and then open the Calculator.

If you want to specify a drive letter (for multiple CD-ROM's)
just add the drive letter:

C:\STUFF\OPEN_CD.EXE open e c:\windows\notepad.exe

(this would open the CD-ROM drive E:\ then launch notepad)

then paste it into your Start-Run box.
